I’m disgusted and dismayed as I watch the information.

I see a slate of unqualified candidates positioned for political management.

I see white males who might lead this nation, with little to no regard for the ladies they (allegedly) sexually assaulted.

I see one other 4 years of infantile nicknames popping out of the mouth of the chief of the free world.

I discover myself operating towards the closest climbing path to embody the peace in nature. I meditate. I hug a tree. I hug my canine.

Then I’m wondering, “Why do I let it trouble me?” What are the problems inflicting me angst?

It’s tough to reply the query, “What’s an important political concern?”

All of them are.

Or perhaps I’m overthinking the ability of what authorities can and can’t do.

Both means, going through fear-evoking points with curiosity might help elevate my nervousness. I hope my reflections carry peace as we journey via the subsequent 4 years.
