10-year-old lady reported lacking out of Glassport discovered protected in Pittsburgh, police say – WPXI


GLASSPORT, Pa. — UPDATE 1/18/25 3:25 p.m.

A ten-year-old lady with autism who was reported lacking out of Glassport was present in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County Police mentioned. They mentioned she seems to be protected.

Authorities in Allegheny Couty are asking for assist from the general public to find a 10-year-old lady with autism.

Borough officers and police are looking for Laylah Pankins, 10, who has autism and reportedly ran away from her Glassport residence on Saturday morning.

Laylah was final seen sporting a sizzling pink jacket with a fur-lined hood, black pants, ugg model boots and a white backpack.

Borough cameras noticed Laylah at sixth and Monongahela passing the Sizzling Spot at round 8:30 a.m. She was later seen getting on a PRT bus in McKeesport and received off on the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Jumonville Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh. She received off the bus at 11:06 a.m., per the Allegheny County Police Division.

ACPD says Laylah was final noticed on the 1900 block of Centre Avenue at 2:13 p.m.

Group members are requested to test their cameras for any sightings of Laylah. In case you see her or know the place she could also be, name 911.
